Inclusion Statement

Last updated:13th April 2026

At Chapel Studio, we want people to feel welcome, respected and able to make music in a way that works for them.

We welcome artists of all ages, backgrounds and identities. This includes disabled artists, neurodivergent artists, LGBTQ+ artists and artists of all races, ethnicities, faiths and gender identities.

We aim to offer a respectful, inclusive and supportive working environment. We expect anyone working with Chapel Studio to treat others with dignity and consideration.

We know that people work in different ways and have different needs. Where possible, we are happy to discuss things in advance, including communication preferences, session structure, breaks and other reasonable adjustments that may help someone feel more comfortable and able to work well.

We also want to be honest about the space itself.

Chapel Studio is based upstairs in a converted chapel building and the studio is not fully physically accessible. In particular, it is not wheelchair accessible at present.

Where the studio space is not suitable, we may be able to offer mobile recording at another location depending on the project. Any additional costs would be discussed in advance.

If there is anything you would like us to know before working together, please get in touch. We will always do our best to listen, be clear and find the most workable approach.
